Community Connect 2024 "Gears of Progress"

In February, we announced this year's Community Connect, and in the months since then, we have been sending invites, planning details, and putting all the pieces of the Connect puzzle together.

This year, we're introducing a new element to the Connect experience: Virtual Connect!

Oh Pikushi, you say, there have been online Connects! Connect 2021 was virtual only! 2022 and 2023 Connects were streamed online!

True, but these past virtual experiences often felt like an addition to the in-person Connect, and we were not able to give them the love they deserved. They did provide a great way for users who couldn't attend in person to see our ideas and conversations and meet some of the staff they've interacted with, but we want to do better this time.

This year, we want to make the virtual event its own unique experience. Tots and I will be hosting virtual Connect over two days on April 29 and 30 with games, chat, and live streams of the presentations being put on during the in-person event. We will also have virtual Connect-only info sessions and AMA as well as game time with some awesome people. (Spoiler: the awesome people = Tots & me.)

JP wrote an awesome blog introducing the event, but I am here to let you know we have released the schedule out to the world. Take a look at the schedule below! (All times are in Mountain Standard Time.)

Registering

Oh Pikushi, you say again, how do I sign up?

Look at you being a go-getter & already knowing you need to sign up! Yes, that's correct! You will need to register for the event, and you can do that here. (Quick note: you do not need to put your actual name on the registration form. Feel free to put an alias or N/A when it asks you for your name.) It is alright if you cannot make every session - you will still need to register, but feel free to attend the sessions you can make it to.

I am looking forward to seeing you all there and getting a chance to talk to everyone!
